A sound attenuation sheet designed to reduce noise in automotive applications while being lighter in weight than existing products has been developed by Pritex, a manufacturer of acoustic and thermo-acoustic insulation products. According to the company of Wellington, UK, the lightweight sheet disclosed in UK Patent GB2563220 can be used in such applications as headliners, boot (trunk) liners, bonnet (hoo) liners, dash mats, interior panels and carpeting.
