By the end of the mission, Commander Jim McDivitt, Command Module (CM) Pilot Dave Scott, and Lunar Module (LM) Pilot Rusty Schweickart successfully met the primary mission objectives and performed several "firsts" in spaceflight: the maiden voyage of the LM, the first docking and undocking between the LM and CM, and the first docked burn of the Command/Service Module's (CSM) main engine.
