Swegon has given its Gold air handling unit series a major update with the launch of a new generation of Gold PX cross flow heat exchangers. The company says that the new Gold PX offers significant energy savings and the addition of new product sizes enables better matches for each new project. The Gold PX range of cross-flow heat exchangers is typically used in applications where no air transfer from extract air to supply air is allowed, for instance, in systems that handle kitchens fumes and smoke. The cross-flow heat exchangers ensure that the supply and extract air streams are separated, while providing a high rate of energy recovery. Extremely compact, the Gold PX unit also saves valuable installation space.
