It's now time to roll up our sleeves, get stuck in and make it happen.Sales of alternatives are definitely increasing, and in addition to environmental drivers there are some pretty compelling reasons - legislative and economic - for end users to make the transition.The F-gas phase-out, with all the implications for potential equipment redundancy and rising refrigerant costs, is a strong stick. On the other side, the opportunity for end-users to future-proof their businesses by making environmentally-informed investment decisions now is an attractive carrot.Organisations such as Eurovent and ATMOsphere by Shecco are doing good work in promoting the benefits. And, of course, industry magazines continue to champion the cause through Awards that celebrate environmentally tuned solutions. It may not yet quite be a torrent, but I think we can say the alternative refrigerants river is flowing with increasing momentum with each passing day.
