HOW CAN LIBRARIES DETERMINE THE VALUE IN COLLECTING, MANAGING, PRESERVING, AND/OR CATALOGING E-RESOURCES?

I recently asked my colleagues, "How can libraries determine the value in collecting, managing, preserving, and/or cataloging e-resources?" hoping to challenge readers to come up with some thoughtful opinions and useful tips. Not surprisingly, I received a handful of substantially different but uniformly provocative and creative responses, including three from Kent State University (KSU). I am grateful to the trio of Golden Flashes and to the Warrior and Cougar for sharing their various views on this topic. I am proud of this issue's column and hope readers share my appreciation and enjoyment.
