10th International Conference on Auditorium Acoustics

Some 85 papers were presented covering a broad range of subjects on auditorium acoustics. At the conference dinner on the Friday evening, IOA President, Barry Gibbs, read out the citation for Jeremy Newton and presented him with his Outstanding Services to the Institute Award. On the Saturday, delegates had the privilege of attending a rehearsal in the Elbphilharmonie concert hall (the Grosser Saal) by the Hamburg State Orchestra led by maestro, Kent Nagano.
