Cirrus Research has developed a range of outdoor noise measurement kits for environmental and community noise monitoring which offer the ability to measure noise over long periods at such places as construction sites, airports, traffic and wind farms. The CK:670 provides protection for an Optimus Green sound level meter and microphone capsule against all weather conditions that could potentially affect its performance. The case can fit the standard instrument accessories, including the outdoor microphone, an extension cable, an acoustic calibrator and documentation. It can be locked while the noise measurements are being carried out and can also be used to safely transport all the equipment needed.
