Brum beats the drum for IOA as it celebrates its 40th anniversary

All roads led to Birmingham for IOA members last October as they celebrated the Institute's 40th anniversary with a highly successful two-day conference at the NEC. Almost 300 people attended, some travelling from as far as Canada and the US as well as seven European countries outside the UK. Overlapping on the first day with Reproduced Sound, it featured keynote lectures, plenaries and medal lectures as well as a series of parallel technical sessions organised by all the Institute's specialist groups.
