Business confidence high

The latest ICAEW/Orange UK Business Confidence Monitor has shown confidence among institute business members at its highest level in three years.This confidence is linked to the resilience of the housing market, the planned reduction in the headline rate of corporation tax and the strength of profits and capital investment growth. Optimism is also supported by the sustained buoyancy in the City of London which is driven by the massive growth in merger and acquisitions, private equity and initial public offerings.
