Regus latest company to make plans to relocate

Office rental company Regus has become the latest firm to declare its intention to move its domicile abroad. The company said it planned to quit Britain for Luxembourg and create a holding company incorporated in Jersey called New Regus. Chief executive Mark Dixon said: Tax is one reason for the move, but we have had this idea for a long time and see it as a way to internationalise the business.' The decision by Regus follows announcements from engineering company Charter and asset manager Henderson Group that they are relocating to Ireland for tax reasons.
