Predicting the future is always an arduous task-but seemingly a stimulating one, judging by the level of attendance at a recent joint ICAEW and Federation of European Accountants (FEE) roundtable to address the future evolution of international structures within the profession.This follows the recent FEE study on the legal structure, governance arrangements and operational characteristics of 30 leading organisations in the profession that service international business needs (see Accountancy, June 2008, p116).
