The ICAEW has appointed Amanda Line as director of its Middle East office. The office, scheduled to open in December, is the second of the institute's international offices that are being launched over the next two years.rnLine, a chartered accountant herself, previously set up a financial training company, later acquired by Kaplan, in Singapore, and has wide experience of running businesses in Dubai.rn'The office gives us a full time presence and a degree of support to our Middle East members that hasn't existed previously. As an international accountancy body, we are really looking tornworking with and assisting them in their professional and business activities,' said Line.rnThe office will provide support to approximately 700 members and students in the Persian Gulf region.
