Informa, the publisher and events organiser, is planning to join the swell of British companies moving their tax domicile overseas.rnThe company is asking its shareholders to approve the creation of a new holding company that would be incorporated in Jersey and tax-resident in Switzerland. It says this is necessary to maintain a tax rate of about 26%-27%.rnInforma said its tax rate would have risen to 30%-31% if it stayed in the UK because of a change to the taxation of foreign profits due to come into force in July.
