Members who fail to complete their CPD declaration could find themselves before a tribunal of the disciplinary committee. The institute's bye-laws require members to certify annually to the institute compliance with CPD requirements. Members can do this by completing the CPD declaration sent with their membership renewal notice. They need simply to declare that they have considered the need for CPD for their particular role and addressed appropriately any need that has arisen.
