It emerges that during the course of the News of the World hacking scandal that the offices of law firm Allen & Overy were tricked some years ago by conman Barry Beardall into handing over details of former prime minister Gordon Brown's personal file. He was subsequently sent to jail. But the worst thing is,he claimed to be an accountant from the 'Dealson group of companies'. Shocking. As if any real accountant would contemplate such a thing!
