ANOTHER CHAIR

ICAEW has appointed Deborah Harris as the chair of its special interest groups. Other new chairs include Kathryn Britten for the forensic group, Nick Brooks for the charity and voluntary sector group, Jeremy Syree for the healthcare group and Robert Wharton for the farming and rural business group.In January, Harris became the chair of the ICAEW non-executive director group which supports both public and private sector NEDs. One of the group's priorities has been to push for greater diversity, particularly in the light of the Davies report which called for firms to more than double the number of women on their boards by 2015.
