Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has appointed Stephen Almond as the new global chairman.He takes over from John Connolly, who retired last May after four years.Previously, Almond served as Deloitte deputy global chief executive, clients and prior to that spent four years as global managing director, audit.In May, the network also announced that Barry Salzberg was to become global chief executive.
