The Camerons' guest list was getting flak last month when the diners were published after a weekend of leaks. There was at least one accountant among the names of the good and the great to receive a 'Cam Dine With Me' invite as a thank you from the Tory party leader. Interestingly, the accountant in question is a former member of the ICAEW Council. Howard Leigh, senior partner of corporate finance boutique firm, Cavendish, and chairman of the Conservative's fundraising 'Leader's Group', is of course a former chairman of the institute's Corporate Finance Faculty.
