PENALTIES UNDER RTI SYSTEM

Real Time Information penalties came into force on 6 October for employers with 50 or more employees. The statement on gov.uk that 'you can get a penalty if you didn't send an EPS [Employer Payment Summary] when you didn't pay any employees in a tax month' hints at the problems employers face in trying to tell the RTI system that they have nothing to tell it.
