RISKS OF A LONG HOURS CULTURE EXPOSED

The finance sector has long been associated with a long working hours culture which has frequently been criticised as being potentially harmful to health and well-being. Whereas this may be regarded by many as being simply a health and safety issue, a recent case in the Employment Appeal Tribunal has highlighted the additional risk of discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010 from a long-hours culture.
