Restenosis begets restenosis: implications for stent selection

BackgroundIdentifying the risk for restenosis is of critical importance in the stent selection process of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Therefore, we sought to determine if a history of clinical recurrence (CR) after PCI increases the risk of CR after treatment of a de novo lesion in another coronary artery.
