Mental health and COVID-19 pandemics: The worrisome humanitarian perspective from the Middle East

A recent survey conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) from June to August 2020 around the globe has clearly highlighted how the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted or halted critical mental health services in 93% of the 130 countries under study despite the demand for mental health is increasing [1].
