Arthrinium species associated with bamboo and reed plants in China

摘要

species are presently recognised based on a combination of morphological characteristics and internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequence data. In the present study fresh specimens from bamboo and reed plants were collected in China. Morphological comparison and phylogenetic analyses were subsequently performed for species identification. From the results obtained two new species, and are proposed, and three known species, , and are identified based on morphological characteristics from the host and published DNA sequence data.
