摘要

The completemitochondrial genomes of 76 species from 43 genera under Cyprinidae were collected to reassess the molecular phylogeny of Opsariichthyinae Liao et al. 2011. The mitogenomes of three species, , and , were newly sequenced. Phylogenetic trees were reconstructedbased on 13 concatenated multiple protein-coding genes with two ribosomal RNA genes. Theconcatenated dataset provided a new perspective on systematics and relationships. Treetopologies show that a monophyletic group containing , , , , and should belong to the group. In addition, the present results also strongly support that and should be regarded asdistinct genera within the group. , , , and form a monophyleticgroup within Xenocyprididae, distinct from the group.Furthermore, is nested with four species of , a genus of ex-Cultrinae in Xenocyprididae. In addition, twomajor types of distinct stripes - longitudinal and vertical - were observed among speciesof the group and were highly correlated with molecularphylogenetic relationships. Such types of vertical and longitudinal stripes presented inthe group might have originated in an ancestor species,after which distinct vertical stripes might have been lost among these cyprinids butretained in the group.
