Astrocytes exposed to OGD plus RO increased the permeability of the bEnd.3 monolayer. GFAP (green) was expressed in more than 95% of cultured cells, and the nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). Scale bar, 100 μm. The TEER value of bEnd.3 monolayer cultured with different ACMs for 24 h was assessed. The ability of sodium fluorescein (NaF) to cross the bEnd.3 monolayer cultured with different ACMs for 24 h was assessed ( = 7).
