摘要

BACKGROUNDComplex fractionated electrograms (CFAEs) detected during substrate mapping for atrial fibrillation (AF) reflect etiologies that are difficult to separate. Without knowledge of local refractoriness and activation sequence, CFAEs may represent rapid localized activity, disorganized wave collisions, or far-field electrograms.
