BackgroundAmong participants in the Secondary Prevention of Small Subcortical Strokes randomized trial, we sought to identify patients with high vs. low rates of recurrent ischemic stroke and to assess effects of aggressive blood pressure control and dual antiplatelet therapy according to risk status.
