BackgroundSelf-reported hypertension has not been validated in specific Hispanic subgroups (Puerto Ricans, Dominicans) and in Asian Americans. The objectives were to assess validity of self-reported hypertension in Hispanic and Asian American adults, and to recalibrate self-reported hypertension with measured values.
