Rapid Response Teams are perceived: a qualitative study and comparison of the perceptions of nurse leaders team members and team end-users

Problem and its significancePerceived benefits of rapid response teams (RRTs) impact their sustained use. Perceived benefits are particularly important for RRT sustainment when limited RRT data is shared with organizational members. Nurse leaders' perceived benefits of RRTs likely influence their support for RRTs, crucial for sustained RRT use. Little is, however, known of nurse leaders' perception of the benefits of RRTs. This study will examine and compare nurse leaders, RRT members, and RRT users perceived benefits of RRTs.
