Detection of Clinically Significant Prostate Cancer: Short Dual–Pulse Sequence versus Standard Multiparametric MR Imaging—A Multireader Study

For the detection of clinically significant prostate cancer, no difference was found in diagnostic performance with a dual-pulse sequence biparametric MR imaging protocol consisting of transverse T2-weighted and diffusion-weighted imaging compared with that with a standard six-pulse sequence multiparametric MR imaging protocol; additional pulse sequences potentially may be omitted from the protocol or only be performed for specific indications.
