AimsIn the dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) study, continued thienopyridine beyond 12 months after drug-eluting stent placement was associated with increased mortality compared with placebo. We sought to evaluate factors related to mortality in randomized patients receiving either drug-eluting or bare metal stents in the DAPT study.
