Atropine therapy versus no atropine therapy for the prevention of adverse events in paediatric patients undergoing intubation

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:The objective of this review is to identify and evaluate all RCTs comparing premedication for paediatric endotracheal intubation with the use of atropine to paediatric endotracheal intubation without the use of atropine, and to quantify the effect of using atropine as a premedication in paediatric endotracheal intubation on adverse clinical outcomes.
