A Microcomputer-Based Data Management System for Intensive Care Use (Fluid and Electrolyte Management)

摘要

There is a need for a cost-effective fluid and electrolyte data management system in intensive care units in small hospitals. This paper describes preliminary work to determine whether a stand alone microcomputer using a high level programming language could meet this need. The results indicate that such a system can be created and indicate that color graphics capability should be employed.
