Book III: Scientific and Research Applications in Medical Care: Accuracy of Measuring Three-Dimensional Coordinates of Metallic Implants in Bony Structures

摘要

A technique for the determination of 3-dimensional coordinates of spherical metallic markers implanted in bone has been developed. The measurements of marker image locations in X-ray pictures made by two sources simultaneously, are processed by computer to give coordinates accurate to within a fraction of a millimeter.
