BackgroundExtragastrointestinal stromal tumors (EGISTs) are extremely rare mesenchymal tumors histologically and immunophenotypically similar to GI stromal tumors (GISTs). The aim of this study was to analyze the clinicopathological factors and treatment outcome in 13 patients with EGISTs treated at a tertiary care center.
