IntroductionSeptic arthritis of the sternoclavicular joint (SCJ) is a rare phenomenon in healthy individuals. It is generally described in patients with predisposing risk factors such as diabetes mellitus, intravenous drug use, immunosuppression, chronic liver disease and central venous catheters.
