Purpose Trichotillomania is a behavioral and mental disorder and is characterized by a recurring habit of pulling out one's hair. The differential diagnosis between trichotillomania and other hair loss conditions such as alopecia areata is difficult for ophthalmologists. We report a rare case of bilateral trichotillomania of the eyelashes that was triggered by anxiety about nocturnal enuresis.
