The technology-driven mode in the long-term evolution of telecom has recently been shifted to the service-driven mode. The study on future telecom services is driving the growth of telecom network construction and operation, and playing an increasingly important role in telecom development worldwide. This article analyzes the important features of the service-driven mode in current telecom industry and discusses important telecom development trends in the service-driven mode.
