Innovation and Research for Australian Homeless Youth Research Proposal

The number of youth homelessness in Australia has recently increased rather noticeably, that is a result from many determinants, including structural and individual ones. It concerns Australian social workers that current social work practice based on a solely strengths perspective could not effectively support homeless youth's multiple social needs. It is urgent to identify certain effective ways social worker professionals employ to approach the heterogeneous group, homeless young people. The research proposal will be on the basis of a theoretical framework, named person-centred approach, and semi-structured interview to be offered in order to deeply explore and understand the multiple and particular needs of Australian homeless youth.
