The vegetative nervous system plays an important role in keeping homeostasis of organism and regulating visceral function. Vegetative nerve functional disturbance is related with clinicalmany diseases. Through the experience that Beishu points in treatment of visceral diseases are effectiveclinically, the author attempts to probe into mechanisms of production and development of visceral diseases caused by effects of relative somatic factors on visceral vegetative nerves from view points of modern physiology, pathology and anatomy.
