Moxibustion in dog days" is a unique therapy for chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma by means of drug-seperated moxibustion. In the present paper, therapeutic methods, and clinical short-and long-term therapeutic effects of "moxibustion in dog days" are introduced and it is indicated that "moxibustion in dog days" has very good the short-and long-term therapeutic effects, with the long-term therapeutic effect better than the short-term one, for chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma. Also, the concrete methods for increase of the short-term therapeutic effect are put forward.
