机译：Prof.Peng Shuzhi(彭树智)has served as the Director of History Department,the Dean of School of Museology and the Director of Institute of the Study of Middle East in Northwest University.At present,Prof.Peng Shuzhi is the supervisor of Doctor’s candidate and the Honorable Director of Institute of the Study of Middle East.He gained outstanding achievements in the research about the history of Middle East and South Asia,the history of Modern World,the history of International Communist Movement as well as the theory of history.He edited the History of Middle East in the 20th Century,the History of Arab States,General History of Middle East States(13 Volumes)and History of Middle East,etc.,which have become the pioneering works for the study of Middle East history in China.In recent years,Prof.Peng Shuzhi has been focusing on the theory of civilization communication,and completed the works Civilization Consciousness from Two Zhai(3 volumes),My View about Civilization and An Old Scholar’s Calendar,etc.,which put forward a new perspective for the study of World History and Middle East in China.His academic experience and the evolution of academic thoughts will be introduced in this paper,aiming to inspire the relevant researches.
