The grit concentration and particle size distribution of the wastewater treatment plant(WWTP) in Beijing western area was studied and the removal efficiency of different particle sizes was measured in practical operation.The results showed that the particle above 200 μm had gross mass by 13%,and the proportion of 106~200 μm was 38%.The inflow grit concentration was 20 g/m3 in dry weather,80 g/m3 in wet weather,which was 4.4 times as much as design value.When the surface loading was 59 m3/(h · m2) and 118 m3/(h · m2),the grit removal efficiency of 212 μm particle size was 51% and 22% respectively.%研究北京西部地区污水厂进水中砂砾粒径分布和浓度,考察了机械旋流沉砂池对不同粒径区间砂砾的除砂性能.结果表明:进水中≥200 μm的砂砾质量占砂砾总质量的13%;106~200 μm的砂砾为38%.污水厂实际进水浓度(烘干后折算),旱季均值为20 g/m3,高于设计规范取值;雨季均值为80 g/m3,是设计规范的4.4倍.在表面水力负荷为59m3/(m2·h)和118 m3/(m2·h)条件下,机械旋流沉砂池对粒径212 μm砂砾的去除率分别为51%和22%.
