Constructing non-pressure tunnel with larger cross section in Quaternary weakly-cemented stratum is rare in China. The diversion tunnel of Manas River I Hydropower Station is constructed in the Quaternary conglomerate (Q1) in Xinjiang. The investigation, design and construction of the tunnel are introduced herein and the experiences can be as references to similar projects.%在第四纪弱胶结地层中建造较大断面的无压隧洞,国内的工程实践经验并不多.建造在第四纪西域砾岩(Q1)地层中的新疆玛纳斯河一级水电站引水隧洞,在勘测、设计、施工等方面的经验,可供类似工程参考.
