Some accidents such as block-falling,collapsing and sticking happened in Quaternary loose gravel stratum during the construction of holes in the valley section of a sandstone uranium deposit of Xinjiang. They seriously affected the progress and quality of the project. To resolve the problems,drilling mud process and drilling method have been improved. After the improvement, the accident rate has dropped from 28% to 12%,and the success rate of accident treatment has risen from 14. 3% to 80%. Good results have been achieved.%在新疆某砂岩铀矿床西部河谷段工艺钻孔施工中,第四系松散漂卵砾石地层经常出现掉块、坍塌和卡钻等孔内事故,严重影响工程进度和工程质量.为此,在分析漂卵砾石层掉块、坍塌原因的基础上,对泥浆工艺、钻进方法进行改进,改进后,事故率从28％下降至12％,事故处理成功率从14.3％上升至80％,取得了良好的效果.
