The Surveillance on AIDS Among Key Population at Guangdong Frontier Port In 1986—1995

Serological test to HIV have been carried out to people entering or leaving the territory through Guangdong frontier ports by the Guangdong Health and Quarantine Bureau, a total of 1,178,469 serum samples have been test and 115 HIV antibody positive cases were detected (including 1 AIDS case), the HIV positive detection rate is 9.8%. Among the 115 cases, there are 39 foreigners (the constituent ratio is 33.91%), 76 Chinese (the constituent ratio is 66.09%). 75 Chinese cases are poeple return to abroad, the other was detected when he was leaving the territory. The author analysed the result of the surveillance of HIV and made some relevant suggestions.
