In China and around the world, governments, water authorities, communities, businesses, and industries are searching for strategies to effectively manage water supplies and address issues like flooding, drought, polution, and aging infrastructure. The cost of dealing with these problemscan threaten a city or region's long-term resilience and viability. The Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) has created a new standard for how to design and maintain outdoor built environments, especialy urban landscapes.
