基于SCP分析框架的山西钢铁产业研究

摘要

Based on the SCP analytical framework in the theory of industrial organization, this article makes a detailed analysis about the iron and steel industry in Shanxi in terms of its market structure, market behavior and market achievement one after another, so as to generalize the status quo and trend of its development and transformation. The analysis indicates clearly that the market structure of Shanxi iron and steel industry is, to some degree, thinnly spread, so it should be concentrated by means of amalgamation;with regard to its market behavior, the consolidation of resources of iron and steel, and amalgamation of iron and steel companies are a sort of significant readjustment for the sake of its economic profits; and the analysis about its market achievement helps arrive at the conclusion that the lower profitability is directly related to the poor concentration of the iron and steel industry itself and the resuhed market behavior,because the profit is doomed to decline in the poorly concentrated industries. It is therefore imperative to improve the imbalanced market structure of Shanxi iron and steel industry so as to promote its competitiveness.%文章通过产业组织理论的SCP分析框架，对山西钢铁产业的市场结构、市场行为和市场绩效进行逐一分析．以概视山西钢铁产业的发展现状及演变趋势。通过对市场结构的分析可以看出，山西钢铁产业市场结构程度比较分散，应通过兼并等行为进一步提高集中程度；通过对山西钢铁产业市场行为的分析，认为，钢铁资源整合、钢铁企业兼并重组，是山西钢铁产业经济利益的重大调整；通过对山西钢铁产业的市场绩效分析，得出了利润率低下与钢铁产业自身集中度较低以及由此产生的市场行为有关，集中度较低的产业利润就较低的结论。山西钢铁产业应该尽快改善不合理的市场结构，以提高其竞争力。
