拜占庭服饰初探

摘要

On the one hand the Byzantine Empire inherited the ancient Roman Empire dress code, on the other hand was inlfuenced profoundly by the oriental dress culture, and gradually formed its unique apparels. As Christianity was established as the state religion, the religious culture of the Byzantine costumes also was impacted greatly. The posterity has been amazed by the exquisite fabrics, excellent embroidery processing, diversiifcation of dress patterns and lavish decoration of Byzantine costumes.%拜占庭帝国一方面继承了古代罗马帝国的服饰形制，另一方面又受到东方服饰文化的深远影响，逐步形成了它独有的服饰形制。随着基督教被确立为国教，宗教文化对拜占庭的服饰也产生了较大的影响。拜占庭服饰精致的面料、卓越的刺绣加工工艺、多样化的服饰图案和奢华的装饰都让后人惊诧不已。
