Under the guidance of the concept of low carbon economy nowadays, strengthening the energy efifciency, saving energy and reducing carbon emissions in coal mine is a problem that must be solved in the present time. This paper analyzes the characteristics and principles of coal mining, and explains the importance of low carbon development in coal mine.%在现今低碳经济理念的指导下，煤矿企业怎样强化能源效力，节约用能，减少煤矿生产时碳排放，是其现今所必须面对且迫切需要解决的问题。文章对煤炭井工开采的特点与原则加以分析，说明井工煤矿低碳发展的重要性，探讨井工煤矿低碳发展的各种技术。
